AHBA Organization Status. The AHBA is a 601c6 membership organization. We are a nonprofit but not the type that can accept tax deductible contributions, which is a 501c3. We are exploring having side by side organizations (both the c6 and the c3 so that we can both have membership and have an ability to accept tax deductible contributions).
